Logfire: We use Logfire for application monitoring. No personal user data is shared with Logfire.
Resend: We use Resend (resend.com) to deliver transactional emails — verification links, password resets, billing notices, and other account-related messages — and segmented announcements to edgar.tools account holders. The minimum information needed to deliver each email (your email address and the message content) is shared with Resend.
Ghost: We use Ghost (ghost.org) to host our public blog and to deliver our newsletter to subscribers who have opted in via the website. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address (and name, if provided) is stored on Ghost for newsletter delivery. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter. Ghost is not synchronized with edgar.tools accounts; deleting your edgar.tools account does not affect any separate newsletter subscription you may have, and vice versa.
5. Data Products and Marketplace Customers
edgar.tools offers structured datasets derived from publicly available SEC EDGAR filings through third-party data marketplaces (such as Snowflake Marketplace, AWS Data Exchange, and Databricks Marketplace). These datasets contain only public SEC filing data and do not include any personally identifiable information.
If you access our datasets through a marketplace, the marketplace platform's own privacy policy governs how that platform handles your account and billing information. We do not receive or store your payment details from marketplace transactions.
We may receive limited subscriber information from marketplace platforms (such as organization name and contact email) for the purpose of customer support and service communication.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. These are necessary for the service to function properly.
We use Google Analytics 4 for analytics purposes. This service uses cookies to collect anonymized usage data. We respect 'Do Not Track' browser signals and the Global Privacy Control signal. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using browser extensions or adjusting your browser settings.
